Every year r/cocktails loses its mind over Alton Brown’s aged eggnog, and this year I finally made it. HOWEVAR (sic), despite America’s Test Kitchen assuring me the booze would kill any pathogens in there, I didn’t feel comfortable giving it away as gifts. So I have like 6 bottles of eggnog. But one of my greatest joys is to make something and then make that something into a follow-on something, so I was thrilled to make this eggnog cheesecake with ‘nog whip. It turned out really well! (Also we don’t have salmonella as far as I know so maybe I’ll gift eggnog next year)
